Teak PS System bookcase by Preben Sorensen for Randers Møbelfabrik made in Denmark in the 1960s. Fully modular three-bay hanging bookcase, with interchangeable parts that can be arranged according to your needs. Two cabinets and nine shelves offer enough space to store books and belongings. The entire piece of furniture is veneered in a beautiful rich grain teak and secured to solid wood rails through brass hooks. Particularly noteworthy are the brass details. One of the lower side shelves can be easily removed (temporarily or permanently, depending on the needs) creating a desk-space suitable for work and/or study. The cabinet with sliding doors is 35 cm high, 80 cm wide and 45 cm deep. The cabinet-showcase is 35 cm high, 80 cm wide and 35 cm deep. One shelf is 31 cm deep, five 20 cm and four 45 cm. The four uprights are 200 cm long. The bookcase has been checked: the doors work, all the modules fit together correctly; the wood has been cleaned and finished with several coats of Danish oil; the brass parts have also been cleaned and the old bent screws have been replaced.
