Scandinavian oak bookcase from the 1960s, with a modular and rational design, with an independent base equipped with drawers.
Oak bookcase designed by Marian Grabinski in the 1960s, a significant example of functionalist Nordic design. The composition is divided into an upper body with open compartments and organizational modules, flanked by an independent lower base with two drawers, 40 cm high, which can also be used separately. The limited depth of the bookcase alone, equal to 28 cm, underlines the rational and architectural vocation of the project. Swedish production guarantees high construction quality and particular attention to proportions and details. Grabinski, a Polish designer active in the post-war Scandinavian context, developed a sober and rigorous language, in which modularity, formal clarity and function coexist in balance.
Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
