Manou rattan pagoda style armchair and footstool probably made in the late 1960s. The armchair is in very good condition: the dark stained Manou rattan structure shows minimal signs of wear; the backrest and seat grilles, as well as the reed joint elements, are flawless and undamaged. It has a cushion made of soft cotton fabric with a contemporary floral pattern; the cushion is perfect and makes the seat very comfortable. The matching footstool has the same style as the beautifully designed armchair. The design of the armchair is reminiscent of the style of the Japanese pagoda, especially in the back.
