Elegant Clinio model wall lamp, designed by the Italian design master Vico Magistretti and produced by Artemide in the 1960s
The lamp consists of a diffuser made of opaline blown glass, mounted on a nickel-plated brass structure and with a characteristic double curvature that allows a glimpse of the internal luminous sphere, also made of white opaline glass. This contrast between pure geometric shapes (sphere and cap) and the transparency/opacity of the glass is the distinctive feature of the model: the light is diffused in a soft and enveloping way, creating a refined atmosphere and enhancing every environment in which it is placed
The proposed example is in excellent condition, the glass is perfect and the metal parts have only a few slight signs of age. It is unbranded, a common element in the first Artemide production
