Rustic in workmanship, probably from Italian mountain areas, it features decorative engravings on the drawers, sides and lower front band. On this band, in a later period (19th century), the Flower of Life was engraved, an ancient geometric symbol, sacred for many cultures and which among its meanings has that of the protection and interconnection of the universe
The shelf is made of a single walnut board. The locks are contemporary and non-functional: the key is for decorative purposes only. The handles are finely crafted brass
The dresser has already been restored in previous eras and features an insert of the restored on the front band (see last photo). He is in good condition, obviously with several signs of his very long age
