This extraordinary Murano glass chandelier is an original Creation by Barbini, one of the most renowned Vetrerie on the Venetian Island. The work stands out for its sculptural design and for the wise use of transparent glass decorated with Murrine Polychrome, which add liveliness and uniqueness to each individual element.
Composed of numerous curved glass blades, modeling by hand and arranged on several levels, this chandelier creates a dynamic and sophisticated visual effect, remembering a waterfall of petals or fronds. The Murrine set inside the glass give light and color in a delicate and refined way, creating suggestive reflections both from bright and dull.
The glass has an irregular and slightly hammered texture, typical of the Muranese artisan processing, which enhances the spread of light and makes each piece unrepeatable. The internal gold metal structure completes the whole with a vintage and precious touch.
