Essential and sober lines define this 1950s/60s Scandinavian model: the lacquered wooden stem opens at the bottom into three thin legs with a tapered section, ensuring stability without weighing down the figure. The fabric lampshade has been renewed faithfully following the period design. The electrical system is the original one and has been tested and appears to be working; the paint coating shows normal signs of aging visible in the photographs.
