Scandinavian elm bookcase from the 1930s-40s with exposed shelves, folding desk, internal compartments and base with doors and drawers.
Elegant proportions and the luminous grain of the elm define a Nordic bookcase from the 1930s-40s: minimal in spirit, full of studied containment. The upper part combines open shelves with a folding door that opens into a desk top, revealing further shelves and small document drawers. The lower cabinet has two hinged doors, a shelf and internal drawers. A clear balance between measured aesthetics and functionalism, at the heart of Mid-Century Scandinavian design.
Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
