Scandinavian oak sideboard “Tokyo” model, designed by Ingvar Sandström for Nordiska Kompaniet, Swedish production with original label.
Scandinavian “Tokyo” model sideboard in oak, designed by Ingvar Sandström for Nordiska Kompaniet and produced in the NK:s Verkstäder workshops in Nyköping, as attested by the original label. Dating from the late 1950s to the early 1960s, it has a balanced composition with doors and row of drawers, turned wooden handles and closures with brass detail. The trestle legs give it a light, architectural character, reflecting the understated elegance of mid-century Nordic modernism. Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
