1940s-50s sestina in mahogany with shaped brass handles, spacious drawers and balanced proportions.
Elegant Scandinavian sextuplet dating back to the 1940s and 1950s, made of mahogany with an intense and vibrant grain, capable of creating refined plays of light on the surface. The shaped brass handles, with a soft and slightly curved line, introduce a precious material contrast with the warmth of the wood. The drawers, large and well built, slide with good fluidity and have well-kept interiors, some with original dividers which testify to the functional attention typical of the time. This furniture fits into the context of post-war Nordic design, when the cabinet-making tradition was combined with a sober and elegant aesthetic, still linked to late art deco influences but already oriented towards Scandinavian modernity.
