French sewing table from the second half of the 19th century. Napoleon III cabinet finely inlaid with geometric decoration in walnut, maple, briar, bois de rose, mahogany and high quality ebonized wood. Coffee table richly adorned with brass and bronze decorations (see photo). Cabinet equipped with an opening top that allows access to the contents of the upper drawer. There is also a recessed mirror (original) with a horizontal stain due to wear and age (see photo).
Cabinet also equipped with a large sliding tray in the lower part. Travailleuse complete with original key with working lock, structurally sound and solid piece of furniture with several signs of aging and small lacks of veneer (see photo). Ideal sewing table to place in a bedroom or living room, for antique dealers and interior designers. Furniture in fair condition, to be restored for perfect enjoyment.
