Item description

Empire table in cherry wood. Top with veneer made in segments, in elm root. Band under the top with carved rosettes and moldings with subsequent gilded leaves, six turned legs with Doric capitals and gilded bases, resting on a molded base with a central carved and gilded vase, plinth feet with carved rosettes that reflect those of the band under the top. Fir interior. Italy, early 19th century.
