Item description

Chalks and pastels on paper. Signed lower right. Giuseppe Siccardi established himself as a sculptor, but also created several graphic works, mainly on paper, in sanguine or black and white. Recurring in these drawings are subjects taken from family life, scenes of tender intimacy, as in this drawing which proposes sweet motherhood. The drawing is presented in a late 19th century frame (slight damage to the gilding).
