1950s “Minerva” coffee table by Hvidt & Mølgaard for France & Son: two shelves, teak and Vienna straw. Iconic “Minerva” coffee table, designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Son. Teak structure with upper shelf shaped with organic lines and lower shelf framed in teak with Vienna straw weaving. Tapered legs with brass detail, light proportions, typically Danish mid-century balance. Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
