Designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, the “PH 5” is one of the icons of Danish modernism. The system with multiple overlapping screens diffuses the light in a soft and controlled way. The external finish is in white lacquered metal; the interior, also white, integrates the colored reflective ring typical of the model which contributes to the quality of the light. Vintage example, 1960s. It shows signs of aging consistent with use: curved edge in some areas and normal traces of age on the paint. Acceptable conditions. It may show some signs of aging.
