Item description

Magnificent and eccentric cutlery service made by the German manufacturer Wingen Solingen in the 1970s. The set belongs to the famous Othello series, of which the brand name can also be seen on the knives. The set was then offered for sale by the prestigious Milanese shop Mejana in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan. The service is in its original box signed Mejana Milano. The service consists of 6 cutlery items, 6 knives, 6 spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 4 dessert forks and 1 thin cheese knife. The beauty and eccentricity of the set comes from the eccentrically made handles. The cutlery is all made of steel and signed by the manufacturer. Some cutlery features a small brass insert in the tip of the handle. The set is ideal to complete the dining tables of a chalet or mountain house and for the more daring cutlery collectors.
