Item description

Round decorative plate in bronze and cloisonné enamel made in China in the 20th century. Cloisonné enamel is a goldsmith's technique originally applied to jewelry design. The polychrome decoration depicts birds and butterflies flying among various colorful flowers on a blue background. The scene is delimited by an ornamental frieze on a dark green background with polychrome geometrizing elements which in certain points resemble butterflies.
