Chair with natural beech structure; curved backrest in polished plywood; seat in die-cast aluminium, straw with knot in the centre, natural. Front legs shaped with a square section, with slight flaring and curvature near the supports; the rear legs replicate the same section, with an increase in depth near the seat structure. The legs are fixed to the rest of the structure via a particular metal joint and screw to the seat intrados. Seat structure, leg joints and steel screws, with contrasting colour. Thomas Althaus (Düsseldorf, 1967) began his career in 1987, after graduating in interior architecture and design from the University of Düsseldorf. from 1989 to 1994 he collaborated with the design studio of Volker Laprell, interior architect and designer. Together they designed the "Online" office furniture collection for the German company Rosenthal in 1992, which was awarded several awards the following year (Red Dot Design Award).
