Item description

B noded carpet designed and produced, by the Venetian artist and designer Renata Bonfanti is made of wool knotted by hand. Beautiful range in the orange and blue tones. Excellent condition made in 1973 Renata Bonfanti was a textile artist and was influenced by the distinctive principles of Bauhaus textile design he met during his stay in Oslo, Norway. It is in this period that Bonfanti has developed its intricate abstract motifs and other complex and artistic designs in his hand fabric works. In 1954 he launched his "Renata Bonfanti" brand and maintained his reputation as a brilliant and fresh artist, with a careful eye to the combination of traditional techniques and contemporary architectural design.
