We kindly invite you to read the entire description, as we have provided detailed technical and historical information to ensure the authenticity of our items. Iconic and refined pair of wall sconces crafted in brass and featuring two opposing truncated cone-shaped shades. Each shade is made of sheet metal, lacquered orange on the outside, and white on the inside. The bulb sockets are positioned inside the shades, while the electrical wires run through brass tubes that offset the sconces from the wall. One sconce has bayonet sockets for spotlights, while the other has screw sockets for standard bulbs. This allows you to choose your preferred setup: the spotlight remains recessed inside the shade, while a bulb will slightly protrude beyond the edge. Both are aesthetically pleasing solutions. At the ends of the brass tubes are two round plates, sliding and adjustable, which conceal the wires and the hook used to secure the sconces to the wall. The tubes connect to the center of each shade via a joint that allows full 360° rotation, so the lighting can be adjusted to suit your needs and interior. When lit, each sconce casts two opposing beams of light on the wall, both matching the diameter of the shades. These sconces were handcrafted in Italy between 2000 and 2005, in a workshop specialized in lighting design, following the style of the iconic Italian firm Stilnovo. A true symbol of elegance, they left a lasting mark on the world of design and fashion.
