This is an elegant coffee table with a strong reference to modern design or Hollywood Regency or Postmoderno style, which often mix transparent materials with luxurious finishes.
Upper floor (top): the table has a large and often transparent glass top, probably tempered given the size, which creates an effect of lightness and lets the structure below.
Intermediate shelf: under the glass top, there is a rectangular/square wooden shelf with a root finish or with a very figurative vein (such as walnut or thunder), which gives it a warm, rich and luxurious appearance. This shelf seems to be suspended between the glass top and the base.
Legs/base: the most distinctive feature are the legs, which consist of circular elements in plexiglass (or acrylic) often and transparent. There are partial rings that act as feet and vertical supports that connect the various elements and support the glass top and the wooden shelf. Plexiglass accentuates the visual lightness of the piece.
Condition: one of the photos (the one in the foreground) shows a small mouth (chip) on the edge of the glass, indicating a small damage. For the rest, the table is in excellent general condition.
