A distinctive set of four dining chairs designed by Ludvík Volák and produced by Dřevopodnik Holešov, exemplifying Czech modernist furniture design from the 1970s–1980s. The chairs feature Volák’s characteristic use of bentwood construction, combining elegant curves with structural clarity.
Each chair has been professionally restored, including refinished wood surfaces and new upholstery in turquoise “sea” fabric. The restoration preserved the authenticity of the design while enhancing comfort and durability for everyday use.
This set represents a fine example of late Czechoslovak modernism, where craftsmanship and design innovation meet in balanced simplicity.
