Item description

Single boat bed, first half of the 19th century Made entirely of walnut wood, it features shell-shaped feet, rosary-style edging at the bottom, and turned wood at the top of the headboard and footboard. Designed to be placed against a wall, it is carved on three sides and has decorative brass friezes on one long side only. The bed is in excellent condition, solid and sturdy with a few minor signs of wear. We have cleaned and polished it for conservation purposes.
