Previewed at the 2011 Milan Furniture Fair:
“The sofa with a teak structure, with soft polyurethane and feather cushions.
The idea behind the sofa is that of an enclosure, paddock in fact, in which however the structure seems to rebel against the concept of orthogonality: the wooden uprights, in fact, are inclined with respect to the vertical, and consequently also the horizontal slats that form the structure of the backrest and armrests have a non-rectilinear shape, which required particular skill on the part of the craftsmen for their creation. Each single element, in fact, was obtained by turning strips with a square section with a side of 8 cm, worked in such a way as to obtain a "rotated" profile with a section of 3.7 cm. The legs are all not parallel to each other but designed to guarantee the stability of the sofa despite the glance that seems to make everything impossible.
Another construction peculiarity is given by the absence of screws, as the elements are all joined together. Extreme cleanliness and simplicity, therefore, for a design that is actually complex and refined.”

This example was purchased in 2016 at Paolo Castelli's showroom in Milan.
It furnished a second home, without having daily use: it is therefore in excellent condition, with some normal signs of use on the teak structure
