Sideboard in exotic wood and brass, 40s
Sideboard handcrafted in France between 1948 and 1950. Various types of precious exotic woods of exceptional quality have been used, creating a truly pleasant and refined chromatic effect. The shape is particularly clean and linear, the central part is enriched by sober and delicate golden brass decorations. It has two slightly wavy side doors, equipped with locks with original keys. The interior spaces are very spacious, the central door turns on itself and discovers two semicircular floors with brass tube balustrades for bottles and glasses, a hidden cocktail area. The sober and linear design of the whole has created a very elegant piece of furniture full of personality. A skillful furniture craftsman from Florence has recently carried out a complete restoration using ancient working techniques.
