Important and valuable pierced rosewood cabinet, decorated with unique and precious inlays in various essences.
These inlays depict grotesques, with a scene of cherubs pouring nectar on a female figure in the center (suggesting that the piece of furniture was given as a wedding gift, a symbol of fertility). The reverse is inlaid with a coat of arms depicting a comet and a lily. This piece of furniture undoubtedly belonged to a Tuscan family, as it comes from a noble residence in the Florentine countryside. IS
entirely veneered in rosewood with inlays in various essences, convertible legs and an interior with drawers and secret room. The interior is lined with poplar.
