Elegant and rare set consisting of a single bed and a wooden bedside table, attributed to Gio Ponti, made in Italy in the years ’40. The ensemble is distinguished by its essential and harmonious design, typical of Ponti's architectural language in the pre-war and immediately subsequent period, with thin lines, light volumes and tapered legs that give balance and modernity to the structure.
