Extra large Poliedri Murano glass chandelier, Italy, 1980s An imposing Italian chandelier of great scenographic impact composed of approximately 300 hand-modelled Poliedri glass elements in bright shades of green and transparent Murano glass. The geometric prisms create a dynamic play of light and transparency, producing a rich, layered glow when illuminated. The chandelier is built on a white metal frame and arranged in a tiered silhouette, characteristic of late 20th century Italian lighting design. Its generous dimensions make it an element of great impact, ideal for grandiose interiors, staircases, dining rooms or hospitality environments. Each polygonal glass element refracts light beautifully, creating depth and movement, whilst maintaining an elegant architectural presence.
