Charming "book" coffee table in authentic Arte Povera style, dating back to the 1970s. This cabinet is a perfect example of a functional and versatile design: its compact size makes it ideal for entryways or study corners, but the double-top in seconds transforms it into a comfortable desk or gaming table. The cabinet is very practical and equipped with: Doubling top with central hinges. 2 Drawers on the left side (perfect for stationery, accessories or sewing). 1 Compartment with door leaf on the right side. Elegant sabre legs that give lightness to the structure. STATE OF STORAGE (as seen in the photo): The piece of furniture is solid and functional, but has clear signs of age on the surface of the wood that testify to its authenticity and which have been highlighted in the photos. Upper floor (open): The surface of the open floor has the most obvious signs. Several concentric circles and rings (water or heat spots, the classic "cup spots") are clearly visible, concentrated especially on the left half of the plane. There is also a wider area of discoloration and widespread surface scratches. Edges: The edges of the tabletop are slightly worn and have small chips. Body and Drawers: The drawer and door fronts are in better condition than the top, but have small scattered signs of wear. The lower drawer knob has a small imperfection or peeling. Finish: The surface finish is matte. The cabinet requires a deep cleaning and, depending on your taste, a superficial restoration to eliminate stains (ideal with walnut-colored wax). The load-bearing structure and opening mechanisms are healthy.
