An elegant antique table clock crafted from finely chiseled patinated bronze, it features a refined ornamental structure with rocaille scrolls and vegetal motifs typical of the Louis XV-Rococo style. The clock is embellished at the top with a full-length sculpture of a cherub, a classic symbol of French decorative art and a popular element in European mantelpiece and table clocks. The circular dial with Roman numerals is set in a richly decorated frame. The back features a manually wound mechanical movement with a key. It is not working and requires servicing. An ideal object for collectors or for decorating classic and antique-style spaces.
