Flap, floor lamp designed in 1983 by Franco Mirenzi for Valenti Cusago (Milan).
The 190 cm chrome-plated steel rod rests on a cast iron base covered with a black repainted iron shell. The lightening body is made of aluminum, as this material better dissipates the heat generated by the powerful 500W halogen bulb and is lighter to move along the rod. The adjustable rectangular reflector is characterised by a "flap" profile which allows the light beam to be modulated with a simple gesture. Manufacturer's label on the lampshade.
The lamp is equipped with its original Valenti Mod. D500 dimmer (up to 500W), which allows for adjustment of the light intensity.
The lamp is in excellent condition, with slight signs due to time and use.
