Enameled metal umbrella stand with brass edges, produced by S.I.V.A. of Poggibonsi at the turn of the 1950s and early 1960s. S.I.V.A., a factory of art enamels on steel, was founded in 1953 by the painter and sculptor Giuseppe Calonaci, with the intention of spreading art in society through the creation of furnishing accessories. Here he works together with many contemporary artists including Silvano Bozzolini, Pirro Cuniberti, Gualtiero Nativi, Marta Pieraccini, Concetto Pozzati, Giovanni Korompay, and many others. In excellent condition, perfect enameling, brass edges in patina, polishable upon customer request. One dent on the bottom edge.
