An elegant Murano glass centerpiece, crafted between the 1960s and 1970s, during the Midcentury Modern period. Made using the sommerso technique, this centerpiece is created by immersing emerald green glass in successive layers of clear crystal, a process that creates great visual depth and enhances the color's luminosity. The silhouette, defined by splash-shaped tips, gives the centerpiece a powerful presence. The centerpiece is attributed to the historic Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks, also known as Artistica Murano CCC, a glassworks active between the 1950s and 1970s, which distinguished itself for its production of glass objects with free-form, bold, and highly expressive forms.
