Teak sideboard with three upper drawers and three hinged doors with internal shelves. Scandinavian production, 1950s-60s.
Scandinavian sideboard made between the 1950s and 1960s in teak, an expression of Northern European production in the transition between post-war functionalism and greater attention to formal quality and materials. The structure is organized with three drawers aligned in the upper part, equipped with integrated wooden handles, and three hinged doors in the lower part which open onto compartments with internal shelves. The interior, in lighter wood, creates a chromatic contrast with the exterior, highlighting the attention to detail. The proportions are balanced and the construction raised on legs helps to define a compact but visually light volume, in line with the Scandinavian production of the period.
Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
