OS29 sideboard, a co-work of mid-20th century Danish design, designed by renowned architect Arne Vodder and produced by Sibast Furniture since the late 1950s.
Iconic features of the sideboard are the sculptural "carved lip" handles integrated into the drawers, a solution created by Vodder to eliminate the presence of additional elements and maintain a clean line.
There are four drawers, two sliding doors and two asymmetrical hinged doors.
The sideboard is in its original state of conservation and is already very beautiful even with some signs of aging, but with a light refit it would be as good as new. Shipping available, I evaluate offers appropriate to the value of the item.
Versatile piece of furniture par excellence, the sideboard plays the lion's share of the latest trend in vintage décor.
There are some out there for all tastes and budgets.
Highly sought after by cool hunters and interior designers, omnipresent in furnishing photographs, often combined with wallpaper decorated with geometric patterns or tropical flora, the 20th century sideboard makes its entry into the contemporary home as an element of character around which to develop the concept of an entire environment.
