Item description

Description: Boulle Napoleon III display case in ebonized wood and gilded bronze belonging to the second half of the 19th century. The front is characterized by a large glass door framed by an inlaid band with an adjustable ladder shelf inside. The two protruding uprights are enhanced by bronze elements with a leaf motif where bronzes descend downwards. The mixed-line base is enhanced by the presence of a mask in the central part depicting a mythological figure. The top is in absolute black marble. General Conditions: To be restored.
