Set of four trays made by Cavinato Ulderico & Co. S.n.c. of Milan, produced with high-quality Milanese craftsmanship in the late 1970s and 1980s. Octagonal in shape, made of a type of very high-quality acrylic glass, crafted using an inclusion or pigmentation technique to imitate precious natural materials such as parchment and light-colored stone, marble, or alabaster. The thin metal frames are not simply brass, but have been electroplated in 24-karat pure gold, typical of items destined for luxury stores.
