Bastiano 3-seater sofa by Tobia Scarpa for Gavina, 1960. Bearing structure in rosewood. Flying cushions with polyurethane bottom and feather top on covered steel elastic rods. The original leather upholstery has very slight marks.
A simple wooden structure for a "classic sofa" in leather that no longer needed a carpenter or upholsterer. The foot solution brings us back to the great school of Vienna: it will radically influence the subsequent production of seats and furniture.
