Refined antique coffee table in precious mahogany wood. This type of tables was called "for work" because under the liftable top there are a series of compartments used in the past especially by seamstresses for small sewing items. There is also a comfortable drawer and an internal mirror. Characteristic and elegant wood turning in the legs. Today this type of coffee table can be placed anywhere in the house, from the living room to the bedroom as a small jewelry box. Mid 19th century.
