An authentic 1930s Art Deco French table centerpiece / planter (jardinière) featuring a striking contrast of geometric design and delicate decorative detail. This piece exemplifies French Art Deco craftsmanship of the 1930s, combining a bold, architectural frame with classic frosted glass engraving. The combination of dark ebonized wood, white accents, and glass creates a timeless, high-contrast look suitable for a console table, dining sideboard, or desk display. Ebonized dark wood frame, frosted/etched glass panels, and off-white/cream turned wooden finials/handles. Design & Form: Features a geometric wooden base with angled side panels holding four glass sides. The side profile exhibits clean, stepped line motifs typical of the modernist movement of the 1930s. Glasswork: The front glass panel is detailed with an elegant acid-etched/frosted motif depicting a classic Art Deco stylized fruit arrangement (grapes, pears, leaves) resting on a decorative tray. Ideal for use as a centerpiece, planter holder, letter rack/organizer, or decorative display piece on a console or sideboard. Shows vintage character consistent with age and period use.
