Viennese chest of drawers in walnut and birch briar, maple and cherry, 19th century
From this dresser of the mid-nineteenth century the choice of material emerges, as desired by the ancient Viennese craftsman its builder, with a fine and elegant walnut burl that distinguishes it among many. The quality of the material is also recalled in the top where the wide birch and walnut briar strips stand out, outlined by further maple and cherry strips. Finally, the moldings on the side pillars and the wavy feet, which give a pleasant harmony, frame the work.
