Item description
Large ceiling (or sconce) lamp with hexagonal steel structure and light blue and frosted white glass elements. Internally it has three light points. Tthe ceiling lamp was produced between 1967 and 1968 by the Fontana Arte Company, a prestigious Italian company founded in Milan in 1932 by Luigi Fontana and Giò Ponti and specialized in glass processing and in the production of furnishing accessories, an important name in Italian design. This ceiling lamp, as well as a piece of furniture, is an example of the style. Elegant, rigorous, and functional that manages to create warm atmospheres, lunar, shaded, and enveloping, giving new light in the eyes of the beholder. The electrical system is functional but original of the time and with European wiring.
