The body is made of fine Porcelaine de Paris and rests on a solid base made of cast metal and finely decorated. A skilled painter has hand-painted the entire lamp putting in the foreground an elegant Bird of Paradise perched on a branch, the leaves of smaller branches are painted with enamel in relief. The artist has put meticulous attention to detail by choosing soft colors and pleasant. The lamp is rare because the artisans of the Porcellaine de Paris hardly used the black porcelain preferring the white one, but this object was created between 1920 and 1925 in Paris, so a product that has followed the fashion of those years in color, but also with the representation of the Bird of Paradise. The lamp is supplied without a lampshade, so that everyone can choose the color in a personal way to match their decor, the photo with the lampshade is only explanatory. The electrical system is working but the wiring is European, the compatibility of the voltage in other countries must always be checked by an electrician before use.
