Djinn two-seater sofa designed by Olivier Mourgue in 1965 for Airborne. Metal frame covered with foam and upholstered in yellow Kvadrat fabric. The feet are fitted with steel rails. The Djinn sofa, whose shape is inspired by the genies of Arabian culture that can take any form, human or animal, is a masterpiece of Space Age design. This sofa is a 20th century design icon made famous by Stanley Kubrick in "2001, A Space Odyssey". The undulating shapes of the sofa create harmony and softness to its seating without neglecting absolute comfort. Upholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. New fabric refurbished.
