Japanese wooden coffee table by Paul Follot. France, circa 1929. Wooden coffee table lacquered in black, light green and gold, parallelepiped structure with upright legs in stepped bands. Engraved stamp on the inside of the cabinet: Internal stamp "0368-P.Follot". (50x37.7x40 cm). Provenance: William Bowman Milan Exhibitions: A similar specimen was exhibited at the Salon de la Societè des Artistes Dècorateurs, Paris 1929. Bibliography: "Art et industrie", June 1929, p. 32; "L'amour de l'art", July 1929, p. 241.
