A cult object of design, the Cobra lamp was created by Elio Martinelli in 1968. Exposed in the largest museums in the world, it is a true icon. It is one of the first lamps produced in die-cast resin. It has a geometric shape, round and simple. Its curves are typical of the design of the 1970s. Cobra consists of two parts joined by a central articulation. The upper arm rotates 360°: it allows to direct the light. As its name indicates, this lamp recalls the shape of a cobra ready to attack, especially when the arm rotates! Direct and diffused lighting is pleasant.
