Napoleon III style female dressing table circa 1800 with original ormolu supports and a working lock and key. The top lifts to reveal a compartmentalised interior with a mirror and ornate ormolu hinges and lock. The lock is decorated with a brass medallion inlaid in the same colour. The whole rests on black lacquered shaped wooden cabriole legs with ornamental bronze frames. There are also bronze ornaments on the sides of the table top. Inside is a mirror with brass ornaments. Under the drawer is a small pull-out box which serves as a capacious drawer.
