Item description

Large Soriana three-seater sofa by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Cassina, Italy 1969. This is the largest sofa in the 'Soriana' range. The sofa is upholstered in a beautiful white washable wool bouclé style fabric. The original foam is in perfect condition and shows its characteristic round and voluminous shape. The concept behind the Soriana series was to express a comfortable design in which a bundle of fabric or leather was held together by chrome-plated metal clamps. The Soriana series won the Compasso d'Oro award in 1970. A very comfortable sofa in a very good condition.
