Item description
Pair of English Victorian round tables with opening doors, late 1890s. Each table has a table top with a brass ring inside. Inside the door is a shelf for storing various objects. The small brass handle further characterises the piece of furniture. The whole is supported at the centre by a large hand-turned leg while the end is softened by three brackets arranged radially. The pedestal is hand-turned in an elegant mixtilinear shape.
