The CAB series, designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina in 1977, was conceived in a completely original way, and subsequently imitated by many designers and companies. The sofa has a steel structure, covered with a leather "dress" made up of different parts sewn together, which close around the structure with zips, just like a dress. Its particularly small dimensions make it a truly versatile piece of furniture, suitable for the most diverse contexts.
